News

Starting Friday 27th June we'll be open for drinks, free pool, table football, sitting outside in the sun (hopefully!) 5.30pm - 8pm or later if the 'last orders' bell is too quiet!

  • Coffee now being served behind the bar - see below for info.
  • We are developing a small but perfectly formed cocktail list so whether you're a Malibu Bay Beach fan or maybe you'd prefer a Mule - Southern or Moscow?
  • We are re-vamping the back garden for a safe space for children away from the road, or a quiet sun-trap to enjoy a coffee or something from the bar. We've measured up and have plans!

COFFEE

We have started with three coffee offerings at the bar, and can expand the range if you would like us to.

Come and try what we've got in a relaxed sunny setting and let us know what we could add for you!

We have regular Bingo, Bridge - courtesy of the Abbey Smith Bridge Club and Whist and a Tuesday Post Office. We organise seasonal events for children such as parties at Christmas and Hallowe'en, an Easter egg hunt and a family duck-race at the nearby stream. We also host a senior's Chistmas lunch, regularly open the bar for drinks and board games, we provide free pool and even Boules in warm Summer evenings.

If you would like to hire our Club House for a private function then our rates are very reasonable and we can provide fully stocked and staffed bar facilities. We have spaceous car-parking and disabled access. We also overlook a playing field and our location is both peaceful and inspiring. The far side of the field preserves evidence of Medieval farming in Drayton Parslow, in the form of 'ridge and furrow' features, leaving a characteristic undulation with a ca. 1m wavelength.
